Director
Dr. Eileen M. Lafer is a professor of biochemistry with research interest in the area of molecular machines involved in vesicular traffic. She has extensive experience in the use of surface plasmon resonance to study macromolecular interactions and has served as Director of the Center for Surface Plasmon Resonance and Co-Director of the UTHSCSA Center for Macromolecular Interactions since its inception.
